Where32 was developed to help with little corks during development.  Most common ones are duplicate DLL, include files and etc.   This application uses the environmental variables to search for the files requested.

For example, you run your new developed application but it uses an old DLL and you can not find where it is.  By running the Where32, you can select the PATH (environment) and search for the DLL.  The results will be a list of DLLs in the order they are found and used by applications.

Another example is include files,  search the INCLUDE environment to find which include files will be picked first.
